Scruffy
Scruffy is a scruffy little screaming border terrier who has fallen completely and utterly in love with our head of animal care, Jan. She follows Jan around like a shadow and emits a terrifyingly human-style shriek any time that she is separated from her adoptive mummy. If Jan dares to go outside without her, Scruffy lies, desolate and alone, just behind the door. Overdramatic is an understatement.

One group of animals at Farplace are always fun to watch. They bounce about like playful kittens, chatting away to each other all the time. They live for one thing only – to have fun. They love to sleep together in a furry cuddly ball, and will explore every new toy we give them with the nosiness of a 5 year old child. One of their favourite games involves rolling around in their ball pool. They also like to swing in their hammocks. Some people are a little unsure of them – but this is only because they haven’t taken the time to get to know them. Although I love all of the animals in my care here at Farplace, I am delighted by my friends, my little clowns, the ferrets.
