I recently relocated to Gothenburg in Sweden from having spent 5 adventurous years in London. Adjusting from an open and abundant vegan community in London to Sweden is an experience of its own. Not only do I spark conversation by my sheer presence in the office cafeteria by just opening up the lid to my lunchbox, going out to eat at restaurant can be quite a mission sometimes and finding “pure” soya groceries not contaminated by egg and milk products is yet another. Lets just say, that moving back to Sweden as a vegan, was like going back 1 7 years in time for me in a way. Since what I’m going through now, is almost exactly what I went through 1 7 years ago when I first became a vegetarian.
It took about 6 months to create Elegantly Vegan, the last three months a bit harder then the first because I had to juggle my hectic full-time job whilst working on the book! The journey have been intense non the less and on the 1 6th June – Elegantly vegan saw the light of day. Now available globally in App Store for iPad and iPhone.
