Hello Spring

CONTRIBUTING WRITERS Michelle Dillon Jay Neal Chris Keller Mary Beth Scallon
Any day now flowers will begin to bloom across East Texas and I’ m here for it! I can’ t wait for the Texas landscapes to be painted with bluebonnets, Castillega and Crimson Clover, as well as the blooming of the Dogwood Trees and Azaleas.
I’ m also excited about outdoor events like farmers markets and Tops In Texas PRCA Rodeo, which we are spotlighting in this edition of Cherokee County Living. What a legacy of grit and glory the volunteers of the Texas Tops in Rodeo have cultivated in this annual event!
In this edition we visit Potter Rey Studios, we learn about Ronald McDonald House and columnist Chris Keller educates us on how important the sense of smell is to tasting beer. Also, look for a few familiar faces in our Around Town photo pages.
