AROUND TOWN
The holiday season was filled with various celebrations and events across Cherokee County that included parades, festivals and other holiday activities. Santa visited Jacksonville to encourage runners in the annual Jingle Jog 5K. Among the celebrations, however, was at lone solemn event – The Tree of Angels. Residents of Cherokee County who were killed in violent crimes were remembered by their loved ones.
