When the 64th Annual Tops In Texas PRCA Rodeo opens on May 7, it will be the results of the efforts of a dedicated group of Jacksonville Rodeo Association volunteers.
Leading the bunch, which is made up of members of the Jacksonville Riders Club and the Jacksonville Lions Club, is president Byron Underwood, who is now in his 14th year at the helm of the organization that is responsible for bringing the three day celebration of western heritage to Cherokee County annually.
“ I have a passion to keep rodeo alive,” Underwood said.“ I love rodeo and I love Jacksonville.
