AROUND TOWN
The calendar says it’ s fall – even if the weather doesn’ t agree – and that means football season and homecomings. Area schools have celebrated their respective homecomings with various events, including Jacksonville’ s city-wide pep rally and Homecoming Spirit Parade, as well as Troup’ s tricycle races. National Night Out was also celebrated in area towns. Jacksonville’ s event saw thousands flock to Commerce Street for the annual festivities.
