The postcard-style mural seen on the east wall of Treasure Cove Antique Mall, 118 E. Commerce St., was painted in 2023 by Odessa Helm. Business owner Debbie Bethard, along with Cassie Devillier, Kathleen Stanfill and Helm worked together to create a design that would reflect Jacksonville’ s icons, history and lore.

The‘ Love thy Neighbor’ theme, which represents the business name – Neighbors Coffee – and the Biblical mandate, was specifically chosen by its owners who are all devoted Christians. The mural, which covers nearly 2,000 square feet, is another example of Odessa Helm’ s artwork.
