The culmination of this research project is a memorandum of the unique qualities of our class: a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and most importantly, a sense of unity and responsibility in striving to benefit the Long Reach and World community. Our purpose in this project was to bring a myriad of environmental issues to the fore, with topics spanning from smog to ocean acidification. On behalf of our entire class, I would like to express humble thanks to several individuals; Ms. Jill Stone, for her splendid guidance in the revision process of each individual paper, Leah Jordan, for her amazing work in editing and compiling all of our articles, and Ms. Radebe, our infallible teacher who gave us initiative and poise not only for this project but also throughout the entire year of AP Chemistry. We would alo like to thank the Science National Honor Society Members who helped us with peer editing. We extend these thanks to our readers, and ask of them to learn, advocate, join the fight against the environmental problems that are crucial to the future of our modern society.
