Team Bid Limitations
A team may receive no more than one bid to The Cheerleading Worlds for any given division . See DECLINING A BID ( to pursue a new bid ), page 6 , for more information .
Athlete Bid Limitations
Athletes within the same club are limited to the number of teams on which they are eligible to compete and earn paid / partial-paid bids . Once an athlete has competed with a team and earned a paid / partial-paid bid , they are permitted to move to another team within their club . If their second team earns a paid / partial-paid bid , they are bound to the second team and may only compete with the second team at Worlds . They no longer are eligible to compete with the first team once the second team is awarded / accepted a paid / partial-paid bid .
Teams are allowed a limited number of athletes who previously earned paid / partial-paid bids that may compete for and be awarded paid / partial-paid bids on a second team :
• Senior Extra Small / Coed teams may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid / partial-paid bids .
• Senior Small / Coed teams may have up to three athletes who were previously awarded paid / partial-paid bids .
• Senior Medium / Coed teams may have up to four athletes who were previously awarded paid / partial-paid bids .
• Senior Large / Coed teams may have up to six athletes who were previously awarded paid / partial-paid bids .
• U . S . -based teams in IASF divisions may have up to four athletes who were previously awarded paid / partial-paid bids .
NOTE : It is the responsibility of the club to ensure that rosters provided at Worlds Bid competitions are accurate and reflect the athletes that competed on the floor and adhere to the parameters of the Cheer Athlete Bid Limitation .
Team Requirements at Bid Qualifiers
• Teams must represent a USASF member club .
• Teams must consist of USASF athlete members .
• Each team must be accompanied by an eligible USASF member coach who holds the required credentials to access warm-up areas ( see page 10 for details ).
• All athletes from a club participating in a 2025 Worlds bid qualifier must be USASF members and listed on an official USASF roster for the event . This requirement applies to every team attending the event , regardless of the division in which they are competing .
• Teams may not compete in the same division at both The Cheerleading Worlds and any 2025 end-of-season , multi-brand event .
Credentialing Requirements at Bid Events
All cheer teams competing for The Cheerleading Worlds bids are required to have a coach , or combination of coaches , with credentials in both building and tumbling as follows :
• Level 6 teams : credentialed through Level 6 in building , tumbling .
• Level 7 teams : credentialed through Level 7 in building and 6 in tumbling .
• Non-tumbling teams : credentialed in building to the level of the team .

5 . Once prerequisites are met , schedule an appointment for a virtual practical session with an instructor .
Virtual credentialing sessions close Wednesday , March 12 , 2025 . After that , the only option will be on-site credentialing in Orlando for a $ 500 added fee .
