Warm-up Room, Backstage Access Policy
• Only individuals listed on a team’ s official roster may enter the warm-up room: club owners, coaches, choreographers, athletic trainers, non-coaching representatives, athletes, and alternates. Proper credentials and identification are required for entry.
• Unauthorized entry into the warm-up area will result in immediate disciplinary action.
• To maintain a focused and secure environment for athletes, children not on the roster, VIP guests, photographers and media are not permitted in the warm-up room.
USASF Teams
Athletes
• Athletes must be current members of the USASF and listed on the official Worlds roster.
• Athletes represent the event producer that awarded their team’ s bid and are expected to demonstrate respect, sportsmanship and graciousness at all times while competing at The Cheerleading Worlds.
• Adult athletes( 18 or older before June 1, 2025) must have a current no-alert background screening and abuse prevention education.
• Alternate and substitute athletes( reserves) must meet the age grid criteria for the teams on which they are serving as reserves.
• Reserve athletes must be registered and paid athletes of The Cheerleading Worlds.
• Reserve athletes must be on the Worlds roster in order to access the warm-up areas.
• Reserve athletes must be competition-ready and in the venue where the team is competing.
• If an injury occurs, eligible reserve athletes listed on the roster and verified at roster verification may be used. Reserves must report and be ready to warm up and compete within 15 minutes of the injury.
• Athletes must present photo IDs for verification by a USASF official. See page 17.
• ALL athletes on USASF Open teams( any division that does not have a top age) must complete abuse prevention education.
Coaches
• Coaches must have active USASF coach memberships and meet all eligibility requirements through their USASF member profile.
• Coaches represent the event producer that awarded their team’ s bid and are expected to uphold the highest standards of respect, sportsmanship and professionalism while at The Cheerleading Worlds.
• Coaches must present USASF ID cards, either digital or plastic.
• Coaches must wear the Worlds coach lanyard at all times.
• Additionally, The Cheerleading Worlds teams must have coaches who are credentialed in both building and tumbling through the level of the team. This may be one coach with both skill sets or a combination of coaches who have both skill sets between them.
• Non-tumble teams are only required to have a coach with building credentials to the level of the team. See page 15 for more information.
• Credentialed coaches must be listed on their team’ s Worlds roster and be physically present in the warmup room with their team at all times.
Non-Coaching Representatives( NCR)
• NCRs must meet all membership eligibility requirements.
• NCRs must present a USASF ID card, either digital or plastic.
• NCRs must have a Worlds Park Hopper or admission ticket for venue entry.
• Only one NCR member per team will be permitted in the warm-up room.
IASF Teams
• Each athlete must present a government-issued photo ID( passport or visa) to a Worlds official to enter the warmup area. See page 16.
• Alternate and substitute athletes( reserves) must meet the age grid criteria for the rostered team.
• Reserve athletes must be registered and paid athletes of The Cheerleading Worlds.
• Reserve athletes must be on the official roster to access the warm-up room.
