Prelims, Semifinals, Finals
Competition officials reserve the right to amend the order of events and / or divisions based upon final registration for The Cheerleading Worlds.
• These U. S. teams with at-large bids will compete in prelims as follows: U18NT-6, U18CNT-6, IOCNT-6, LSXSC on Friday, April 24; LSXS-6 on Saturday, April 25.
• The top 10 prelim teams in each division will advance to the semifinals on the day following their prelims.
• Prelim teams advancing to semifinals will be reverse-seeded and spread among the paid-bid teams within the performance order.
• The top three teams from each country in the IASF divisions will advance from semifinals to finals.
• The top 10 Senior divisions will advance from semifinals to finals.
• The performance order for finals will be reverse-seeded based on semifinal results.
• Scores do not carry over from one round to the next.
NOTES:
• If 40 or more teams compete in a division’ s preliminary round, 15 will move to the semifinal round.
• If 40 or more teams compete in a division’ s semifinal round, 15 will move to the final round.
Worlds Trials
The semifinal round of any IASF Division with 14 or more teams from the same country will be declared a Worlds Trial.
Semifinals
• The top three teams from each country with 14 or more teams will progress to finals and receive trophies and gold, silver and bronze medallions.
• Teams placing fourth through 10th in each of the above division will receive trophies.
Finals The top three teams from each country will progress to finals to compete among the top three teams from other countries.
