o why is it that very often when we are in a relationship there is an attraction to being out with the girls (or guys), free from ties and having to worry about anyone else and yet when we are single we have a growing desire to be safe, secure and having fun with that one special person sharing the last rolo and surrounded by big fluffy hearts enviously gazing at other couples as if they have everything we have ever wanted. As human beings can we ever be happy or content in either situation completely and how do we get to that point of balance if we are in a relationship? A partnership spiritually speaking is often believed to be the hand of fate, where past life influences or even our spirit guides step in to bring us the chosen person to walk the forever pathway - but in the height of passions, and relationships sure are complicated, we can get confused and lose sight of boundaries just the way we do when waiting for a relationship. We should not entirely let a relationship swallow us up, every waking minute so we cancel all other appointments, deeds, work plans and ideas we may have had before we met them. Equally of course we have to bring them into our lives and integrate both existing paths as well as new ones which can only come in time. It is good to maintain an equilibrium, with outside friendships and people to help us keep a steady flow as well as adapting to new energy and healthy interaction. Achieving balance in a relationship pathway right from the word go, can be a challenge, as emotionally we all know the feeling of excitement to spend every waking hour together but this can lead to losing friends who were around us before we fell into the throws of “coupledom”. Worse still it can blow a relationship out before it has started, as pressure builds up when we “eat, live and breathe” in this way without sustaining a life outside the new partner.
