Connecting Our Residents Studies show that social integration and community involvement are key factors in being healthy and living longer. The Library offers many opportunities for you to be involved and meet people—whether you want to take an active role or observe from the sidelines. The Library invites you to attend the bimonthly community book discussions at Sedona Winds, in the Village of Oak Creek. Selections for this year included The Help, The Kite Runner, and Eat, Pray, Love. If you are a mystery reader, check out the Mystery Book Club, which meets monthly at the main library. In addition to our library-sponsored clubs, over 50 nonprofit groups and clubs utilize our meeting spaces each year. Groups that meet at the Library include the Sedona Car Club, the Sedona Gem and Mineral Club, and local chapters of the Arizona Archaeological Society, National Audubon Society, and Embroiderers’ Guild of America.
