Children are being encouraged to check out a nature book from Prendergast or any other participating library and return it for a librarian’s signature on a bookmark. Each participating child and an accompanying adult will then be admitted free to see the work of a nationally-known wildlife artist at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute through May 25. “We hope this joint effort will make the community more one of the great wildlife artists and illustrators of the 20th century.
