Community Partnership with parents Our school understands that effective partnerships with parents are key outcomes. We believe in letting parents and carers know what and how encourage a constant dialogue between school and home and support t consultation evenings, workshop meetings, curriculum presentations, rea and invitations to class assemblies and celebrations events. To aid comm wellbeing and learning, we also provide parents and carers with a perso their child’s class teacher. We also believe that homework can help reinforce what children learn children are given homework but whilst some children cope with the de exceptionally well, our teachers are careful to make sure it is kept to an Our Local Community Our School Communi Charles Williams is at the centre of the community in Caerleon. We have close links to many local schools, colleges, universities, businesses and people. We sometimes offer them support but they also give us their services and support the school with demonstrations, lessons, equipment and fundraising. Police Officers, the Fire Service, authors, poets and musicians often visit us to show us what they do. We also visit people in the community and take part in activities such as serving afternoon tea and playing board games with the elderly at the local sheltered accommodation, community gardening and playing with the children at playgroup. We have a very active Pare Association (PTFA) who wo school through exciting eve activities. Our Governing Bo of the local church, commu and representatives of the L ordinary people, drawn from who devote their time to g so that they are able to bot to account for the things w achieve.
