Back to School

Yes! Finally the eighth grade! I’m finally at the top of the food chain! No more bottom or middle, no I’m at the top! But, like usual, middle school is a constant battle for survival. Come lunch time, every last one of us are starving. We get our food then its time for the real challenge, eating it before the rest of them eat it. The lunch room is probably the most chaotic room in the school. Kids battling for the last scraps of food, angry growls and snarls, and pleading whimpers are only a few of the things you can find in there. Gym might be just as difficult. Pushing your hardest trying to prove yourself to the others, but only being pushed aside by another, there is no end to this madness! Every class is a battle for the right to go home. The moment you step off the bus and walk to your front door, the battle is over. Then you lye on your bed and fall asleep, preparing for another day of war.
