PREGAME Performing the Anthem today will be the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus. Like the Jaguars, the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus was founded in 1995 and celebrating its 25th Anniversary, the JCC has become one of America’s best youth choruses, performing at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center, American Choral Director’s Association Conference, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and the Irish Royal Academy of Music. The JCC has released recordings of multicultural music and collaborated with many of the most highly regarded composers and guest artists. New works are composed for the JCC regularly and are an important part of its mission. The JCC’s inaugural River City Choral Music Festival was held in the summer of 2018, on the beautiful campus of Jacksonville University, welcoming choral singers both nationally and locally from 5th to 12th grade. The Jacksonville Children’s Chorus is frequently seen on local television making appearances on Good Morning Jacksonville, River City Live, First Coast Living, Action News This Morning, and WJXT’s The Morning Show. • More information is available at www.JaxChildrensChorus.org. • On hand to interpret the National Anthem for the hearing impaired is Courtney Brown. • The American fl ags will be held by Play 60 Youth. Today’s F15 fl yover will be done by 125th Fighter Wing, a unit of the Florida Air National Guard, stationed at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base, Florida. The F-15 Eagle is an all-weather, extremely maneuverable, tactical fi ghter designed to permit the Air Force to gain and maintain air supremacy over the battlefi eld. Overseas, various F-15s were deployed to the Persian Gulf in 1991 in support of Operation Desert Storm where accounted for 34 of the 37 Air Force air-to-air victories. They have since been deployed for air expeditionary force deployments and operations Southern Watch (no-fl y zone in Southern Iraq), Provide Comfort in Turkey, Allied Force in Bosnia, Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. At home, Florida Air National Guard continues to fl y the F-15 as part of the ongoing federal mission to protect our homeland against enemies foreign and domestic. On hand to interpret the National Anthem for the hearing impaired is ROAR Cheerleader Brooke. Today’s Colors will be presented by Joint-Services Color Guard. The American and Military Branch fl ags will be held by US Military members and CSX Volunteers.
