Residents are able to play bunco once again .
If you would like to join bunco , they meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 1 p . m . in the Charbonneau Clubhouse Card Room . For more information contact Edna Buddrius at 503- 694-6945 .
Niners Variety Show
Charbonneau ’ s nine-hole women ’ s golf club will be performing their annual variety show for the Charbonneau community Friday , Oct . 1 and again Sunday , Oct . 3 at 6 p . m . in the clubhouse dining room . This year ’ s theme is “ Queens of Music ,” and the show will be filled with familiar songs — old and new — with choreographed dances and skits . The costumes the women put together are always a delight and some can be quite elaborate . These productions are popular with Charbonneau residents because all the performers are neighbors and friends . Tickets are just $ 6 and on sale in the CCC office . Hurry in , these tickets always sell out .
Couples bridge is coming to Charbonneau
We have dates sets aside to begin a new event on the calendar at Charbonneau . If you would like to participate in couples bridge , please call Kay Sharp , 541-905-6014 . Dates so far are Sept . 13 and 27 , and Oct . 11 and 25 . Time is from 6-8 p . m . in the card room at the clubhouse .

We had a fantastic turnout , great cars and nice weather during the Spring- Ridge car show . With 33 cars , this was one of our largest shows .
Jim and Susanne Gordon received Best in Show with their 1911 Ford Model T . Voting is done exclusively by Spring- Ridge campus residents . The Gordons are members of the Portland Area Regional Horseless Carriage Club of America . Special thanks to Larry Perini , our DJ who volunteers his services to this event each year and to all the owners of these beautiful autos for making this year ’ s event so special for everyone .
