Don ’ t miss the Crab and Rib Dinner on Sept . 18
Yeah team , yeah team , yeah team ! We are cheering for those of you who will be at the Crab and Rib Dinner this year .

We are especially cheering the great team planning this event : Anne Shevlin , Chris Bosak and Elaine Swyt along with several others who are thinking and worrying about what this will actually be . By the time you read this there will be more information available . If you have tried to purchase a ticket and are a bit too late , there is a waiting list . Go online at the addresses listed at the end of this article .
At the Crab and Rib Dinner , besides a delicious meal , you will see some wonderful baskets to be auctioned off to the people holding the lucky tickets .
These baskets contain trips , vacations , catered dinners and much more . Many volunteers have donated these items and have been busy assembling the baskets and setting up the room for you . You will be seated at tables where you have good conversation and you may purchase wine or beer . Our speaker will be a most interesting and accomplished person . He is an example of the success that Boys & Girls Aid has as they assure the future of children .
Bring your camera if you want pictures . This occasion is very photogenic . I call it a point-and-shoot event . ( But also make sure you have had your shots !)
The Boys & Girls Aid monthly luncheons will start again in October . These luncheons are fun , and an opportunity to see friends and hear an informative speaker . If you want to know more about Boys & Girls Aid come to one of the luncheons . You do not have to be a member to do so . Look for information in the October column about our next luncheon .
