A viewer ’ s guide to the 2020 Charbonneau Festival of Arts
The 2020 Charbonneau Festival of Arts “ The Virtual Exhibition ” begins online Oct . 1 and continues throughout the
HOEM entire month : all the way to Halloween . You can join the fun at https :// charbonneauarts . org from any location or devise that connects to the internet .
Virtual Art Gallery
In the Virtual Art Gallery , you will find over 60 artists from Alaska to California presenting over 900 pieces including 3-D virtual art galleries . You will find all media represented : oil painting and watercolor ; photography ; mixed media ; stone sculpture ; jewelry design ; fabric art and more . Simply click on an artist you like and you will open their individual portfolio page where you will find up to 12 additional examples of their work . Leslie Leeper , Curator , and her team are planning to
present art awards in various categories with winners being announced online during the festival .
Interested in more information about an artist or want to buy a piece you see there ? A link on that page takes you to the artist ’ s webpage or contact information , and you can follow up from there . The Virtual Art Gallery is being presented by our Gold sponsor , Wilsonville Carpet & Tile .
Music Stage
The Music Stage features the works of in both audio and video formats . Performances will include Basso a Deux , Rebecca Hardiman and Don Latarski . It will operate the same as the art gallery : When you see a musician you want to listen to , navigate to their music portfolio page and you will be able to hear clips excerpts of their work . More information and opportunities to download music or buy a CD will be available by clicking a link .
Concert Special : on Oct . 23 , a live stream performance from BlackFish Gallery will feature Portland recording artists Marilyn Keller and Darrell Grant . Tune in at 7:30 p . m . to enjoy this livestreaming special event . We will be promoting this all month online . The Music stage is presented by our Silver sponsor Lynda Huber , Real Estate Broker & Broker , in Charbonneau and Wilsonville .
