CWGA season comes to an end , membership applications now available

Another CWGA season has come to an end , with what seemed like a record number of players each week . We ’ ve been blessed with nice weather well into October , so even with COVID-19 restrictions and a couple of weeks of smoke-induced cancellations , we managed to use and even exceed the funds budgeted for payouts . That means we had some good golf and some serious shopping therapy on the horizon for the winners this fall in the Pro Shop !
Meanwhile , the prospect of fewer nice weather days means those of us who stay in Oregon during the winter

will have to make do with our indoor putting mats while watching golf on TV . If you ’ re able to head to warmer
climates , even with pandemic restrictions , good luck with everything you do until we start up again in the spring .
Also , with Veterans Day coming , it ’ s a good time to express our gratitude for this wonderful country , and for the many veterans in Charbonneau and elsewhere who served their country when they were needed .
Renew early and save
Membership applications for 2021 are available in the clubroom and on our website . If you renew by Dec . 30 , your dues are discounted by $ 5 , and your GHIN membership will be reactivated early in January so you can continue to post in Sun Belt states . Oregon ’ s posting season ends Nov . 30 and resumes March 1 .
