Neighbors watching out for neighbors
Our Charbonneau community is known for neighborly , friendly people who check-in on their neighbors . Recently , a few people have asked if there is a way to connect with residents who live alone and would appreciate calls / check-in by phone . While looking into this , several companies were found that offer this service for a reasonable price . Some of the questions the companies may ask are : What is your preferred method and time of contact ( i . e ., text , email , phone call )? How often do you want to be contacted ? Who to call in an emergency ( three contacts )? Doctor ’ s name and phone number , etc . Someone can sign up for this service even if they don ’ t have a computer or email . This is not a replacement for children or friends making personal phone call , just a great way to have peace of mind for all concerned .

Zoom art classes : “ Through the Eyes of an Artist-Watercolor ”
Charbonneau artist Elaine Luneke will be offering art classes by Zoom , March 10 through April 14 from 1-3 p . m . This series of classes is $ 60 .
We will explore personal growth as artists with an emphasis in drawing , composition , watercolor techniques and special effects .
We will also discuss the particular lives of artists both historical and in contemporary times within many mediums . Register with Elaine Luneke at 503-989-1540 .

Spring is almost here and it is time for the CCC office staff to begin updating the Charbonneau Resident ’ s Directory . This booklet is not just a resident directory . It also contains helpful information about Charbonneau businesses , homeowner associations , architectural control policies and much more .
For those who are already listed , please check to make sure the information in the orange-colored 2020 directory is current . The directory information includes resident phone numbers and it is possible that this information may have changed . The deadline for making changes is May 19 , which is the date of the CCC annual meeting .
