We are commited to transparency , communication , community input |
Over the past year , the CCC Board has been committed to an open and transparent process as we move forward with significant improvement projects .
As discussed last month , we all have faced our own communication challenges during this unusual time . Our commitment to transparency , communication , and community input remains at the forefront of our board ’ s policies .
The Activity Center planning nears completion and construction is on schedule to begin in the spring . As we move forward with plans for the remodel of the Clubhouse into an Event Center with a restaurant , the planning committee given that challenge will be establishing a timeframe for community input and presentation of the proposed plans .
|
Currently the groundwork is underway , such as a complete structural and engineering review , concepts for design , and input from our partners at OB Sports and others with extensive restaurant experience . The basic floor plan was presented at our community meeting ( via Zoom ) in August .
We expect a more extensive design presentation to be ready by the spring .
You probably noticed an increase in emails from the country club . This is part of continuing effort to inform our residents on immediate issues of concern . We have had several Zoom presentations in January and more planned in the months ahead .
Community engagement is a crucial part of the purpose of an HOA . Getting relevant information to our residents without the use of our clubhouse is challenging , but not impossible .
If you have a speaker or subject that you believe would be beneficial to our community , please contact Kim at the clubhouse ( kim @ charbonneaucountryclub . com ).
The Emergency Preparedness & Public Safety ( EPPS ) Committee is in the process of establishing a Security Master Plan . As you may know , we have contracted with First Response for many years to provide a security patrol in the evening and early

morning hours .
However , the committee has been tasked with creating a comprehensive five-year master plan that guides the CCC Board and management to purchase new or replacement systems that result in a safe community and protect CCC physical , financial and digital assets .
You will also see more communication from the committee in the form of Neighbor Care bulletins as we ensure that our community is as prepared as possible in the event of a major emergency .
Finally , a board nominating committee has been established for our annual election in May . Every year , three of the nine positions are up for election .
If you are interested in serving on the CCC Board of Directors , please contact the CCC office .
We are always looking to tap into the incredible knowledge and expertise of our community members . We welcome volunteers to help in the various committees and projects we have undertaken . Again , simply contact the CCC office .
