TWO COUPLES CELEBRATE 60TH WEDDING
ANNIVERSARY TOGETHER

What are the odds? Two
Charbonneau couples
were married 60 years
ago in the same month
and on the same day.
Jim and Angela Greene celebrated
their anniversary with Ruth Ann and
Tom Moore July 9.
“It’s as though we were destined to
meet because we were amazed to
learn we all had something wonderful
in common,” said Ruth Ann in a press
release.
The Greenes and the Moores met as
neighbors, living across the street
from each other six years ago, and
have been celebrating their
anniversaries together for the last five
years.
This year the couples originally
planned to celebrate separately but
had to cancel travel plans due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, so the pair
settled on dinner at Filberts
Farmhouse Kitchen in Canby.
“The food is good and we’re hoping
to sit outside,” said Angela prior to
their dinner date. “It’s just a whole
different year.”
