While we are closing in on the end of the year , we need to be ever so grateful for the one we ’ ve shared . Personally , I have been blessed with so
VEDDER much comfort upon the death of my husband last March and that prodded me to continue with the things I enjoy the most — one of them being a Sunshine volunteer !
It ’ s so gratifying to help the local residents in a time of medical and physical support . My team is well qualified to assist you , or at least guide you , with your particular
needs . As I ’ ve said before , our basement cupboard is chock full of supplies — some rarely requested and others that are constantly in use . For instance , we ’ ve had a hospital type bedside table in storage forever and all of a sudden a client asked if we had one ? Voila , now being used .
And so it goes : please always ask if we have what you want . The rare occasions that we can ’ t help , we will send you in the right direction for rentals or purchases .
Remember , the items we share are on a loan agreement and are not meant to be kept indefinitely ! How I hate to make “ the phone calls ” to have things returned . We trust you to do so in a timely fashion .
From the information I gather , we are very unique in the Metro region ! Local hospitals and nursing facilities are aware of what Charbonneau can offer . This also puts us way ahead of other vicinities when it comes to disaster planning . I have a daughter who cannot even find a BAND-AID in her own home or a thermometer , etc . ( No , she doesn ’ t live here ). Another reason to keep on keeping on with the Sunshine Service !

Membership forms are now available in the clubhouse
As I write this article , we have officially “ teed ” off for the last time for 2021 . What a year we experienced ! It was our pleasure , Laurie Bales and I to serve as co-presidents .
Looking forward to 2022 , we hopefully can return to more “ normal ” events
— both socially and golf-wise . We are pleased to announce that 2022 CWGA membership forms are now available in the clubhouse . Pay before Dec . 31 and receive a $ 5 discount . Such a deal !
Just a quick reminder to use your Pro Shop credit before the end of the year . Use it or lose it as the saying goes .
Our illustrious Golf Pro , Chris Bensel , has organized what should be some very fun golf tournaments over the coming months . Please check in the Pro Shop for the specific details , like format , cost , menus , etc .
For those of you heading south for sunshine and warmer temps , we wish you a fond farewell and see you in the spring . For those staying behind look for emails announcing monthly luncheons over the winter .
