Next year , Charbonneau community members may notice Lux Sucre Desserts in a new home in the same building .
The dessert shop , which is currently located at 31840 SW Charbonneau Drive , Suite H , has plans to expand its footprint as well as its offerings .
“ We ’ re locating from one corner to the other corner to provide more space for our business ,” said Chanelle Walters , who owns the business with her husband , Brandon .
While the new space is undergoing renovations , the two have had difficulties with obtaining equipment so the opening is being delayed until January or February 2022 , “ if the stars align ,” Brandon said .

COVID .”
The new location will allow for increased staffing , storage space and improved efficiency for the larger amount of orders being requested . Lux Sucre plans to bolster coffee offerings by implementing “ a more productive barista station ” as well as food and beverage items . There will also be both indoor and outdoor seating .
“ I think it ’ s going to be a place where people want to spend some time and hang out ,” said Chanelle , adding that the decor will include a sheek design with darker tones , which will create a comfortable yet upscale space . “ We ’ re excited about all the opportunities ... The patio is kind of an untapped patio in the neighborhood .”
