• In his first year competing in track & field , the junior put on quite the show with an appearance at Drake as well as taking third place in both the shot put and discus throws at the Class 2A state meet

• Drake Relays champion in the High Jump , clearing 6 ’ 8 ”. Class 2A runner up at the state meet after a 6 ’ 7 ” jump

• The sophomore had a nice showing in the long jump at the Iowa High School Track & Field Championships , placing 15th with a jump of 19 ’ 11.75 ”

• The sophomore cleared 5 feet even at the state meet to tie for 13th in Class 4A at the state meet
MIRAYA PESMMAN
FULTON HIGH | JUNIOR
• Pessman was a contributor for the Steamers both on the track and out in the field
• The junior took 17th in the IHSA Class 1A long jump , jumping 16 ’ 1 ”
