Brady Milikin gave it his all for the Pekin Panthers his senior year . The senior ’ s winning-ways began in the fall as an important member of the boy ’ s cross country team . Milikin finished with his first ever top-five run at the Iowa High School state cross country championship by placing fourth with a time of 16:33.3 , nearly six second faster than his time in the 2019 season . Milikin ’ s top-five finish helped the Panthers finish 9th place as a team at state . As winter began to set in , so did Milikin ’ s effective scoring for Pekin boy ’ s basketball . The senior finished second on the team in scoring , averaging 14.9ppg on a Panther team that finished first in the SEISC North . During the summer months , Milikin was a key piece for Pekin baseball . Milikin showed his ability at the plate , finishing off his senior year tied for fifth on the team with 13 RBI , along with a . 338 batting average and a team-leading 36 runs . But Milikin also made an impact on the mound for the Panthers with a 4.20 ERA and 16 strikeouts .
