Schulte was another key player for Pella who earned first team all-conference honors along with his third team all-state selection. The junior averaged 10.9 points per game on 43.6 % shooting from the floor to go along with his 35 % from three and 75 % from the free throw line. He would also average 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

The Albia sophomore earned third-team all-state honors in Class 2A from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association after leading the Blue Demon boys basketball team to a district championship this past season. Chance, who follows in the footsteps of older brothers Blake and Drew, led Albia in scoring averaging 19.1 points a game and rebounding averaging 7.4 boards.

McGuire was one of the most efficient scorers in 3A while helping the Dutch to a Class 3A Substate Final appearance. The 6-foot-5 forward earned second team all-state honors and was top 10 in 3A in field goal percentage at 64.1 % while averaging 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
