Everyday Torture
People were tortured every day. Some were dragged over sharp stones and some were even bathed to death. Yes, forty to two-hundred people were shoved into showers and exposed to freezing water until they died. If they did not work hard enough, they were sentenced to be burned to death in the

Then, measurements would be taken. Every inch of the twins was mapped out. Doctors took photographs of every angle. Some were even forced to hold their hands up for hours as their armpit hair was photographed and documented.
After that, the twins were submerged in hot
water to loosen their hairs' roots. When they were taken out, various samples of hair were plucked from various body parts. As soon as the doctors had enough hair, they shaved the twins clean. More photographs were taken.
When all of this was completed, the twins were taken into a room and given a chloroform injection to the heart. The doctors took care to make sure the twins died at the exact same moment. If that was not gruesome enough, they were then dissected for their organds and send to other research labs.

It is hard to imagine all of these scenarios that played out and really conceptualize the horrors that these people saw throughout those dark days. Seeing your family and friends, beaten to death in front of the whole camp, or watching the young get
dragged away to receive a chloroform injection to the heart, and not being able to do anything. This may spark anger in your heart now. Imagine the frustration, the abhorring and loathsome thoughts, and the overwhelming sense of soul-weakening guilt that those who had watched had to carry on their shoulders.
Prevention
The torture in the Holocaust shaped the event's reputation. What is worse is the fact that hardly any of the Nazis and doctors were punished for their crimes. They murdered others, and committed crimes against humanity.
