A LETTER FROM
GARY
I’m excited to see our students progress, overcome
challenges, and gain more competitive experience this
Fall. Several GGGA students have won their division in the
tournaments they have played and many had great results
finishing in the top three places.
This year, we have started a new tradition at GGGA. We present
the “red hat” to every student that wins in a tournament. These
reds hat signify more than just a win! It takes a great deal of hard
work, dedication, and patience to achieve a win at a tournament. If
you happen to notice a student wearing one of our new GGGA red
hats, please acknowledge their success!
We have also started another new tradition at GGGA that recognizes a
student that has excelled in ways outside of golf. I think it is important to
commend a positive attitude and one that exemplifies being a role model
to others. To shine some light on these students, we award a student of the
week.
I am proud of our GGGA team for mentoring and supporting our students in
every way possible. All of our coaches are dedicated in helping every student
achieve their goals. Golf is a physically and mentally challenging game that is
never predictable.
To me, golf is very similar to life. Adjusting to new changes and developments is key
to achieving success. Gaining experience is one of the best ways to learn and build
confidence. At times, this process can be challenging for students. It is important to
remain patient and refer back to the personal drills and routines that help us remain
focused. It is the quickest method to quiet one’s mind and play the best shot moving
forward.
Thanks for all of your continued support of GGGA!
All the best,
