MEET TREVOR HYPOLITE
Trevor is our Director of Fitness here at GGGA . With over 17 years of experience in the industry , Trevor has worked with athletes of all levels and abilities in multiple sports . Although fitness is extremely important to Trevor , he has also taken a primary interest in human movement , biomechanics and kinesiology . This combination of biomechanical knowledge and physical training alongside Gary has given him the ability to create numerous drills , exercises , and corrective techniques to help improve the golf swing . Aside from all his knowledge and credentials , what really separates Trevor from other Athletic Coaches is his passion for our athletes . He treats each athlete as if they were his own personal clients . He sets out each day to give our students the tools to become the best athletes they can be .

Do you have any special certifications ? Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 , Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength & Conditioning Association , National Association of Speed & Explosion ( NASE ) Certification . Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise , Functional Movement Screen ( FMS ) Certified .

Why is fitness training important in Junior Golf ? Fitness training gives the individual athlete a level of confidence to perform at their best level . It gives the young athlete the platform to perform efficiently while learning the game . This allows for a more complete athletic development .
Best fitness tip for golfers ? Understand the importance of adequate recovery . This is your nutrition , your flexibility - how does your body recover after playing 18-holes or a day of golf ? 9 / 10 you have to play the next day . Recovery affects your routine and mental game .
Tell us about your life outside of fitness ? I ’ m a family man . I try to be the best dad I can be , and be a great mentor to my kids . I ’ m very active and spontaneous - I love to travel and learn about different cultures .
