A LETTER FROM
GARY
Dear Friends and Students of GGGA,
I hope that each of you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
I’m excited to see our students return for the new spring semester.
The goal of every semester is to set realistic goals, overcome
challenges, and gain more competitive experience.
The coaching team will address the tournament schedule making
sure each student will be playing in events that give them the best
opportunity to perform. This also allows the coaching team to develop
each student’s training plan for the semester.
What makes GGGA unique is that each student has their own personal
development plan which will be adjusted during the semester. Allowing each
student to understand their strengths and have a plan of improvement for
any weak areas is key. A great number of students can overcome challenges
with mental training.
We are thrilled to add a new mental trainer, Nick McMillen, to our team this
month. Nick was introduced to the students before the break, and he is really
excited to start working on a day-to-day basis with each student.
The first few weeks in January will be spent assessing each player using modern
technology like Trackman, K-Vest and Body Trak. The students will rotate during the
semester being coached by different teachers, experiencing each coaches professional
input and guidance.
GGGA is where the students train and going to tournaments is where they test their skills
and golfing IQ. We had several GGGA students win their division in tournaments over
the first semester. Many had great results finishing in the top three places. We also had
students have breakthroughs; all of which build confidence. Tiger even says he is trending in
the right direction - all he has to do is stick to the process and trust himself in competition.
It just proves even the best in the world have to stick to the process. Winning is earned, not
given.
We have an awesome team at GGGA. If you need to talk to any part of the team, please call the
office. We love to hear from you and are always excited to hear from our families and partners.
Thanks for all of your continued support of GGGA!
All the best,
