Our students partake in a group fitness program which will help them become more conditioned , improve both aerobic and anaerobic power systems , and help their bodies be prepared for playing the game they love . The program includes on-range fitness specific to the technical plan for the day , group fitness training as well as optional one-on-one with our fitness team , individual assessments and monitored gym workouts .
The GGGA fitness team also can provide individual assessments to share feedback for both the student and the coaches on what are their strengths and their weaknesses . With different tests like the vertical jump and trunk stability test , our coaches are able assess different aspects of the game like posture , endurance , power / speed , balance , and strength .
This information is then shared with the technical and on-course coaches to help improve each student ’ s golf game . The fitness coaching team uses this information to improve the student ’ s fitness level in our team training sessions and from individualized standpoint during our one-on-one sessions .
