Hometown: Danville, VA
How old were you when you started playing
golf? My dad and granddad introduced me
to golf when I was only four years old. My
family loved the game. At one time, my dad,
my brother and myself were all teaching
professionals.
Do you have any special outside
certifications? I’m a PGA Member, trackman
certified, V-1, TPI Level One, Coutour Putter
Fitter Certified, and SAM Putt Lab Certified.
Why did you choose GGGA? I came to GGGA
because I really believe in Gary’s system of
training; I love his passion!
What keeps you motivated? The game of golf
keeps me motivated - to go out and shoot
even par or better!
Tell us your most memorable moment on
the course? Playing with my dad when he
shot his age, 71, at Golden Ocala.
Favorite player? Tiger Woods. He drives the
game.
What’s you favorite golf saying? “Today you
don’t have to play golf...you GET to play golf!”
Best mental tip? Play one shot at a time...the
next one. The mental game is 90 percent of
hte game and will separate two golfers of like
talent, and it keeps emotions in check.
What was one highlight of your career? Five
career hole in ones.
What three words best describe you?
Passionate, fun & relentless.
Welcome, Ron!
