2024 National Night Out Community Highlights
Dozens of neighborhoods across Arlington came together for another successful National Night Out , Tuesday , October 1 . Neighborhood Engagement staff connected with neighborhoods and residents , as they hosted food , games , and community camaraderie . The Oak Lake neighborhood was this year ’ s winner of the Block Party Trailer drawing . Enjoy the evening ’ s festivities in our photo tour !
National Night Out is an annual , nationwide event that fosters strong police-community partnerships to build safe , inviting , and engaged neighborhoods . The event also affords the opportunity for neighbors to get to know one other and their surroundings better – both necessary to build safe communities .
Wildwood Estates hosted a neighborhood fishing tournament on National Night Out .
