Welcome home, Hornets! Homecoming is a time to reconnect with friends, faculty, and

Friday, November 3
Musical Teaser and Martin Cuellar / Ramiro Miranda Concert
3:30 p.m. | Beach Music Hall | No charge
While you are back on campus, experience the talents of both our
students and faculty. Students will perform a couple songs from 9 to 5,
followed by a piano and violin concert performed by two of ESU’s top
faculty members.
Black & Gold Gala
5:30 p.m. Reception | 6:30 p.m. Dinner | Memorial Union,
Webb Hall | $40/person, $75/couple
The Black & Gold Gala is the perfect way to kick off your Homecoming
weekend at Emporia State University, and all Hornets are invited to
attend this special homecoming event! Enjoy cocktails, dinner, and
entertainment while celebrating the Hornet Nation with our honored
guests and the recipients of the Outstanding Recent Graduate Award
and Distinguished Alumni Awards. Cocktail attire. Reservations
are required.
Homecoming Welcome Back Party
8 p.m. | Brickyard 20 Ale House | $15/person
This event is designed for our young and recent alumni of ESU
and includes two drink tickets and hors d’ oeuvres. Come and
enjoy time with your friends and former classmates during this
welcome back party!

Athletics Hall of Honor Breakfast
8 a.m. | Memorial Union, Webb Hall | $15/person
Emporia State recognizes the distinguished careers of student-athletes,
coaches, administrators, and supporters of Hornet Athletics. All are
welcome. Reservations are required.
Alumni / Faculty Breakfast
9 – 11 a.m. | Memorial Union, Main Street/Bookstore area | No charge
Come grab some coffee and breakfast and visit with fellow alumni and
both current and former faculty members.
Dedication of a New Residence Hall
10 a.m. | Highland St. | No charge
You will have the opportunity to make your mark on history to let our
future Hornets know that you were there at the dedication of campus’s
newest residence hall.
Homecoming Parade
11:30 a.m. | Commercial St. to ESU Campus
Ready for a parade? Emporia always is! And, Homecoming is a great
excuse to block off Commercial Street for another one!
Watering Hole
Noon – 1:45 p.m. | Kossover Tennis Complex | $15/adult,
$10/youth (12 and under)
Join alumni and Emporia State football fans for a tailgate party the
entire family can enjoy. Food and beverages are available for adults and
youth along with a variety of activities for kids. While reservations aren’t
required, they are strongly encouraged.
