membership of the Athens chamber of Commerce, we

I know this has been a challenging year for everyone
associated with the Chamber and Athens in general,
and we are exceedingly proud of the resilient spirit our
community continues to exhibit. Athens’ Chamber of
Commerce is the heart of our business community and
continues to grow throughout this difficult time. We
strive to promote our local owners and assist to further
their endeavors. Each of our members are essential in
enhancing our wonderful city!

We are so glad to have such a great place to call home.
Athens, Texas is made up of rich history and fantastic
people. Everyone is a neighbor and a friend.
Athens is know all over the world as the Black-Eyed Pea
and Hamburger capital. Athenians love to celebrate tradition
of eating black-eyed peas on New Year’s, enjoying
one of the award winning hamburgers from our hometown
restaurants, and celebrating music at the Annual
Old Fiddler’s Reunion.
Athens has a community of small business owners and
industry that support each other. People love to do
business in Athens because of the hometown feel and
personal touch.
