Texan Rodeo – For
over 30 years the
Rodeo has been a
part of the Athens
tradition. You can
choose Friday Night,
Saturday Night, or both to visit the
Henderson County Fair Park Complex.
Every year has something new to offer.

Farm & Ranch Tour-
Want to learn more
about the history and
heritage of Athens and
Henderson County?
What better way than to take a tour of
three local agricultural venues. Everyone
boarda buses to see the beautiful
properties selected for a tour. After the
tour everyone is invited for a BBQ lunch
with an awards presentation for Joe B.
Fulgham Agriculturist of the Year.

Taste of Athens – Come out and sample
all of the delicious food Athens has to
offer. Local restaurants come out to offer
samples of street tacos, home made
soups, breads, bar-be-que, desserts, wine
tastings, custom made coffee drinks,
fresh farmers market
vegetables, jellies, jams,
and much more. Be sure to
reserve your tickets early
for this mouthwatering
event.

Athens Beautiful Shoot-
Out- Do you like to shoot clay, fish, or
golf? Then this event is for you! Teams
of 4 participate at a chance to win best
overall prizes and individual prizes.

Fall Festival Dog Show at East Texas
Arboretum – The Athens
Chamber of Commerce
is proud to support the
East Texas Arboretum each
year at their Fall Festival.
Special Guest judges and
prizes for entrants are provided by the
Athens Chamber of Commerce. Even if
you do not have a pet plan to attend this
can’t miss show!
