PICK
bridge to bridge
paddling trip
Take Bridge Street in Colebrook, NH. There’s a parking area to unload just
before the bridge and easy access to the river. This route down the Connecticut
River is a good choice for beginners. It takes about an hour and features bald
eagle sitings, rural farmland, and views of Mount Monadnock. End at the Columbia
Covered Bridge where an improved exit has been made. Enjoy a picnic on the bank
and explore the historic bridge before heading back. Remember to park another vehicle at
your end point to shuttle you back!
