There’s a parking area to unload just before the bridge and easy access to the river. This route down the Connecticut River is a good choice for beginners. It takes about an hour and features bald eagle sitings, rural farmland, and views of Mount Monadnock. End at the Columbia Covered Bridge where an improved exit has been made.
