Has rejection ever affected your creative process ?
Absolutely , I think it ’ s a learning process where you have to go through certain things to remind you of your self-worth and bring you back to the right goal , and not to hesitate to take part in open calls
just because I ’ m scared of not being selected , I try to send in my work , to at least put my name out there and get in contact with an artist agency or collective .
What is your favorite accomplishment ?
It ’ s difficult to choose one because I like to celebrate every small achievement , but I would choose the ‘ Paint night ’ event hosted by Roshni Rides , it was the first time ever that I
co-hosted a painting session with Areeba Siddique , and got up on stage and painted a Karachi sky with so many enthusiastic people from all age groups !
If your work was something edible , what would it taste like ?
A strawberry cheesecake
A strawberry cheesecake sprinkled with blossoms , it has various textures and flavors , and I would say my art style incorporates different topics , mediums and subjects !

How would you define 2020 in 3 words ? Confused , impatient , unknown How has your work been affected in 2020 ?
My art routine fluctuated with my moods , at times I would try a completely new medium or get a burst of inspiration for content , and this year helped me push myself to try my hand at diverse styles of art , but there are long periods where I feel demotivated and uninspired to even pick up my sketchbook or think over ideas .
How would you define your style in one line ?
I think creativity brings out a lot of your individuality in itself , I just try to visualize my ideas as best as I can using whatever medium works , be it photographs , videos , watercolour paintings etc . My art style is imaginative and observational and I love to work with bold and bright colours !
