Buy a metro card. Paris has almost over 300 subway stations, which makes it easy to get around the city. A week's pass is only 20 euros.

Watch your bags. You will see a lot of gypies or pickpocketers around paris-excpessially in tourist attractions, so make sure you have a grip onto your valuables and are keeping an eye out.

Women need to be especially vigilant while walking alone at night and should try to stay in well-lit areas. It is also a good idea to avoid any smiling or making eye contact with men you do not know, some may see it as an invitation to make advances.

The Latin Quarter is considered one of the best places to vist it in Paris. It is much less crowded than regular places in Paris, with many cute and cheap cafes. You will be able to find many areas to wander around if you're looking for some time away from the busy city. So make some time to visit this beauitiful spot.
