Brief Memoir

The food is much more appreciated and valued in France, which brings back memories from home. My family ideals their food as they eat slow and savor the taste because of my Italian and Dutch background. There are many different cafes and restaurants which all accompany the typical French foods, making it very diverse from the fast-food districts of Toronto.

Furthermore, France’s citizens are unexpectedly different. Many people here do not smile at passing pedestrians or even try to exchange a grin; instead they just stare until you look away.

With this way of life, it comes off as rude to many tourists who don’t realize their nature. Although, some of the men can be very forward with the woman and it can be a little too much at times. Many men will come up to woman and express that they find the female beautiful and stunning, although sometimes, without any regard, they will say rude and disrespectful things which can make things very uncomfortable.

My overall experience in France so far has been one of the best trips that I have ever been on, as I can’t wait for the next few weeks coming up.
