She describes her passion for helping other women in human resources and why certification is important to her. Certified: What is HR Girlfriends, and what is its mission? SanĂ¡ Rasul: HR Girlfriends is a networking community for women working in or providing services to the field of human resources. The mission of HR Girlfriends is to create a collaborative environment that supports authentic networking among those women. HR Girlfriends knows no color lines, and all women are welcome. When I started HR Girlfriends, I knew that I wanted an organization that was rooted in these core principles: authentic networking or connections, community service and education. Almost from the outset, I partnered with Dress for Success Washington D.C. to empower the women of HR Girlfriends to give the best of themselves to women who are seeking opportunities to succeed.
