Markus Voelker, GPHR, eels that he has been in the “medicine person” role since early childhood in his home country of Germany.

Building on a background of psychology and cultural studies, he started his career in training and organizational development
consulting. He is now training manager for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in New York. Voelker’s current passion
lies in empowering staff for long-term behavioral change processes. His daily work in a global environment motivated him to
complete his GPHR certification in 2010.
