HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA Inc . is investing more than $ 14 million to expand its Montgomery facility , creating 50 new jobs . This expansion is a response to strong market demand and is expected to increase productivity by 10 %. HD-HPT is constructing a new warehouse and expanding yard storage to support this growth to house materials and spare parts . The expansion will also include the acquisition of a new modular transporter to facilitate the movement of parts and materials . Initially , 15 employees will be hired for the new storage and warehouse , with the potential to increase to a maximum of 50 .

ALIEEP AND STUDY ALABAMA TO SHARE GLOBAL EXPERIENCES IN THE ROLE OF ALABAMA HIGHER EDUCATION
On June 11 , Executive Director Meesoon Han along with Study Alabama Co-Executive Director , Dr . Stacye Fraser Thompson signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU ) to promote academic advancement , global education and international links between Alabama and other countries . Based in Montgomery , ALIEEP partners with the Korean Ministry of Education and several government agencies including the Alabama State Council on the Arts , the Alabama State Department of Education and the Alabama Commission on Higher Education .
M TRANSIT AND CITY OF MONTGOMERY OFFER COMPLIMENTARY RIDES
The M Transit and the City of Montgomery celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act ( ADA ). On July 26 , individuals with disabilities were invited to enjoy complimentary rides on all M Transit services as a token of appreciation and support for their rights and contributions to our community . Signed into law on July 26 , 1990 , the ADA is a landmark civil rights law that protects the rights of people with disabilities , ensuring equal access and opportunities .
