HEART OF ALABAMA FOOD BANK
MISSION : To source , acquire and distribute nutritious food to those experiencing hunger and food insecurity throughout our region , so families , seniors and children can thrive .
BRAG LINES : The Heart of Alabama Food Bank sources and distributes food to 12 surrounding counties directly out of our Montgomery facility , in addition to addressing hunger and food insecurity for 35 counties in Alabama . We distributed over 29.5 million lbs of food last fiscal year , equating to over 24.5 million meals for fellow Alabamians in need .
