Keith Phillips appointed as Interim President at Wallace Community College Dothan
Alabama Community College System ( ACCS ) Chancellor Jimmy H . Baker announced the appointment of Keith Phillips as Interim President at Wallace Community College in Dothan and Eufaula . Phillips currently serves as Executive Director of the Alabama Technology Network ( ATN ) and Vice Chancellor of Workforce and Economic Development . Phillips will serve following the retirement of Dr . Linda Young , who served as President of the college for 36 years . Young ’ s retirement was approved by the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees on September 11 .

River Bank & Trust ’ s Chief Executive Officer , Jimmy Stubbs , announced Barry Parker ’ s promotion to Elmore County President . Parker , who joined the bank in 2020 , has served his community well as a trusted financial partner and friend . She has more than 10 years of experience working with tax clients , specializing in family-owned businesses with interrelated entities . She has also been instrumental in developing tax processes and managing the various software used by Jackson Thornton ’ s tax line of business . In addition to being a CPA , Goddard is an IRS Enrolled Agent and holds professional membership in the National Association of Enrolled Agents . She also holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants .

Quin Gresham named Artistic Director at ASF
Alabama Shakespeare Festival ( ASF ) has appointed its fifth Artistic Director in the theater ’ s 52-year history . Quin Gresham joined ASF on November 4 after 19 years at Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre in Missouri . At Arrow Rock , Gresham directed numerous musicals , comedies and dramas of varying scope and size . Also an actor , he appeared in 50 productions at the Lyceum . Gresham will introduce his first slate of shows at ASF in 2025-26 .
