The women of Embrace Alabama Kids help the nonprofit fulfill its mission to provide a safe haven for children coming from families in crisis . But their commitment also gives these kids an extra hug in the form of hope .

WE ’ VE LEARNED THE HARD WAY THAT we must overcommunicate and communicate in various formats to ensure each person is able to receive the information .

WE ARE PROUD OF embracing and nurturing vulnerable children and families by providing homes , healing and hope .

YOU WOULD NEVER GUESS we have been serving vulnerable children and families in Alabama for more than 130 years .
WE VALUE the people and institutions who donate to and support our mission . We could not serve more than 1,000 people each year without the generosity of others .
OUR SECRET SAUCE IS our incredible staff members who are dedicated to our mission and to the people we serve .
CURRENTLY , WE ARE WORKING ON getting ready to provide a wonderful Christmas season to the children and families we serve .
