How It Started Nicole : We didn ’ t initially intend to start a business together . We each pursued and launched individual passions and ventures but worked tirelessly to support each other in doing so .

Nicole : We started the Sloan Blueprint CouplePreneurs Podcast in August 2021 . The core pillars of the podcast are faith , marriage , family , business and community , and it was established to empower and support couple entrepreneurs by offering a platform to highlight the unique benefits and challenges of running a business together . We provide tools , tips and resources and showcase other couples / entrepreneurs who are excelling in marriage and business .

Making It Work
Nicole : We put God first and foremost in our personal and professional lives . Working together every day has taught us how to recognize our individual strengths and weaknesses but also how to utilize them for the growth and enhancement of our marriage and business endeavors . It can be challenging to separate our personal and professional lives ; communicating clearly and setting boundaries and limits are crucial .
Eric : Also , establishing a husband-andwife friendship enhances our business relationship and keeps us focused on being intentional , productive and making progress overall .
